I grew up in Anthony, New Mexico, right near the El Paso/Juárez border. My mother and father (Leticia and Alfredo) still live in that area along with my younger sister, Stephanie. She has a while before she leaves home (still in High School.) My brother, Alfredo, lives in Las Vegas with his wife, Blanca, and our nephew, Anthony.
I graduated from Gadsden High School and headed off to college on the east coast. I met a lot of great people (including my husband, Marlon), and made the best friends in the world. I still miss them all very much. I graduated with my degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1999.
I guess I didn't have my fill of education at that point, because I ended up going to graduate school (in the Midwest of all places) the very next semester. By the time I finished my Master's degree, I'd had enough of the snow. I was also too burnt out to stay for the Ph.D., so I headed off to the corporate world.
I am currently a Systems Engineer for The Boeing Company where I work on the Cabin Pressure System on several of the airplane models. My husband and I live in Everett, WA, where it rarely snows in the winter and everything is green all year round. Feel free to look at some pictures in our archive and sign our guestbook.
