Our Garden - Summer 2003: Slide 1 of 15

This is one of our flower containers. We plan on using more of these annual flower containers in the future. The perennials didn't work out as well.
Our flower vine is beautiful in the early summer. It grows rather quickly and overtakes anything nearby, including one of our smaller trees. We've been wrapping the same type of vine around the deck and hope to have pictures of that next year.
The Hydrangea bush is outside our breakfast nook. It had a lot more blooms this year than last year.
Some of the blooms were quite large - as can be seen here.
The rosebush in the front of the house blooms constantly. It provides a nice splash of color almost all summer long.
We also have three Rhododendron bushes on the right side of the house. Here's one of them.
We are very proud of the roses we have growing right up to our deck.
They grow in pink, orange, and yellow hues.
We also have some all pink roses that grow up to the deck level. Last year we only had ONE bloom from this bush, but it really blossomed this year.
Here's another type of rose bush that we have growing outside the livingroom window.
We also have a few tulips that pop up here and there. We're hoping to plant a few more bulbs in the future.
Marlon planted some sunflower seeds. Here they are when they were less than one foot tall.
Here the sunflowers are about two feet tall.
Finally, at almost their full height of five feet.
Marlon's babies.
